Je définirais ma pratique artistique, comme étant un acte de funambulisme graphique, un acte créatif, où, bien qu’antinomique je me bats à rester dans un lâcher-prise afin de laisser l’oeuvre éclore, se révéler elle-même. Je m’applique à rester en équilibre sur ce fil ténu de “laisser-aller/contrôlé“, à accueillir les matières et les entités qui s’invitent, en gardant une cohérence générale qui donnera son intérêt à l’oeuvre.

C’est dans cette faculté à nourrir la symbiose entre technique et propos qu’est l’intérêt principal de mon travail et qui m’apporte tant de plaisir. Je me place tel un médiateur qui dirige le dialogue qui naît entre le fond et la forme. Je navigue entre abstraction et figuration et me perds dans les matières générées par le pinceau ou le crayon afin d’y trouver la créativité qui révélera le figuratif sous-jacent et ainsi rendra le propos accessible au spectateur. Je m’émerveille toujours à observer la vie qui échappant à mon contrôle, qui s’insufle sur la toile.

Dans ce fourmillement de fragments de vie, se construit une histoire que chacun peut s’approprier selon sa sensibilité et sa capacité à se laisser embarquer dans ce dédale graphique. Il n’y a pas un discours d’ordre général à proprement parler que je porte sur la longueur dans mes oeuvres, je me laisse plutôt aller à représenter ma perception du monde qui m’entoure au travers du prisme de ma sensibilité. Mais les thèmes de la nature, de la spiritualité, de l’ésotérisme et de ce qui fait l’être humain au sens général nourrissent principalement mon travail.



I would define my artistic practice as an act of graphic tightrope walking, a creative act where, although antinomic, I struggle to remain in a state of letting go in order to let the work blossom and reveal itself. I strive to keep my balance on this tenuous thread of "letting go/control", welcoming the materials and entities that invite themselves in, while maintaining an overall coherence that will give the work its interest.

It's in this ability to nurture the symbiosis between technique and purpose that the main interest of my work lies, and which brings me so much pleasure. I see myself as a mediator, directing the dialogue between form and content. I navigate between abstraction and figuration, losing myself in the materials generated by the brush or pencil to find the creativity that will reveal the underlying figurative and thus make the subject accessible to the viewer. I always marvel at the life that escapes my control, that creeps onto the canvas.

In this swarming of fragments of life, a story is built up that everyone can appropriate according to their own sensitivity and ability to let themselves be drawn into this graphic maze. Strictly speaking, there's no general discourse on length in my work; rather, I allow myself to represent my perception of the world around me through the prism of my sensibility. However, the themes of nature, spirituality, esotericism and the very essence of being are always present in my work.
